I played a little bit of WoW, as tank, healer, and DPS. EVE NPCs aren't like that, especially since they tweaked the aggro mechanics a few patches back. From what I can tell, they aggro the last thing to enter the pocket, but don't bet your Rattle...

If you stick with those mining missions, at level 4, they will start to pay very well, especially if you can do them in more dangerous space outside of high sec. (below 0.5) It is slow going, at first, but level 1's and level 2's are easy in a Ven...
